My earliest childhood memories sparkle with the magic of the wildlife in the Blue Ridge mountains. So much song, rhythm and the sheer joyous vibration of life, ever changing and dancing with the sun, the moon and the stars. Inhaling the intoxicating scents of my concocted honeysuckle, rose and lilac perfumes, it never occurred to me that there would be those who would never appreciate such grandeur, let alone those who would seek to destroy it.
We have become so disconnected from our source, from the perfection and beauty of nature. Our healing relies on this reconnection. We have become sick and tired and depressed because we have forgotten who we are and where we came from. Nature is not something out there. We are nature.
